We all understand that the faster you build your project the faster you get paid. This is always the focus of a woodworking business. But talking to my existing cabinet shop customers, I have found that this in not their only goal. They are spending more time concentrating on quality not quantity. I have been watching the woodworking industry for 40 years. One thing has become evident to me these days, and that is how the quality of craftsman ship has increased. I have also noticed that customers today, in Saskatchewan, have more money to spend and demand quality for it.
Yes, the old saying still holds true, that no matter the size of business, the best advertising a woodworking business can have is word of mouth. Your future jobs have as much value as your present job.
